Situation:

Water Storage tank in a residential condominium in in NYC is uninsulated and wasting usable heat and energy. The ownership is very concerned with energy and cost savings and ultimately increasing their “Green Initiatives”

Solution:

HPC  Hot Pipe Coating was applied directly to the surface and fittings  during operation without  any operational downtime  or pre treatment .

Results:

 The heated  tank was coated during operation realized a Delta T of 52⁰ with 3/8” of HPC. This was only a sample  done on one end of the tank and realized a 39% increase in  retained usable heat. (we are certain that the results will be better once the entire tank is coated)
