VCT is one of the most widely used floor surfaces throughout retail, commercial, and institutional buildings due to its economical initial capital investment. However, VCT surfaces require continual cleaning, stripping, waxing and burnishing. Typical VCT flooring products become dull and must be stripped often. Even after the floor has been waxed, unsightly stains and debris are captured in the wax coating leaving a breeding ground for mold, bacteria and odors, therefore requiring re-stripping.
