HVAC/R Coating Systems are traditionally intended to protect coils against corrosion and premature life cycle failure while maintaining the systems design.

Traditional coating systems often act as an insulating barrier to beat transfer efficiencies, provide an organic food source for mold growth while disrupting laminar airflow over the fins and forgoing the system design efficiencies.

Protecall’s HVAC Corrosion Protection & Energy Saving System saves energy and maintenance while protecting the surface against chemical attack or mold growth and are highly abrasion resistant. The net impact is a reduction in overall maintenance cost and a surface that is much easier to clean and maintain.

Harsh coil cleaners damage coil finishes and create surface tension that attracts dirt and debris
Coil cleaners that are rinsed onto a roof and later drained into a storm sewer are environmentally unsafe and illegal in many states if not reclaimed
MicroGuard will not support the growth of mold ASTM G21 (zero growth) on the evaporator and condenser therefore improving the indoor air quality (IAQ)

Reduces Toxic NOX Emission

The EPA’s ongoing program to reduce toxic emissions from gas and coal fired power plants during peak demand hours for energy consumption performed a study on 150 existing field units in the Charlotte, NC area comprised of various brands, models, sizes and conditions.
- Test results projected a significant reduction in pollution on 178,000 pounds of pollutants for the 2,500 tons measured, amounting to 0.5 pound of pollution saved per ton of HVAC per year.
